"My name is Abba Harouna. I am 12 years old and I am an orphan. I lost both of my parents two years ago. I currently live with my grandmother, who is elderly, sick, and without any source of income. Before my parents passed away, we lived in Baga, Nigeria, near the Komadougou River. At that time, my father was a fisherman, and he was prosperous and took good care of my mother, my grandmother, and me.
Unfortunately, because of the terrorism problems caused by Boko Haram in 2019, we were forced to move and settle in Diffa. Since arriving in Diffa, life has become very difficult for us because we had to start all over again from nothing. In addition, we were considered strangers. Then my parents died. Since that time, I have been living with my grandmother, and I suffered a lot because even finding food was difficult. Besides that, I also suffered from isolation.
Everything changed the day I discovered the WAYYO NGO center in Diffa. From that day on, my living conditions changed. I now eat free meals and eat well five times a week. In addition, I made many friends at the center. Most importantly, through the teachings, I learned to know the Lord Jesus. I gave my life to Jesus, and I now attend church regularly. Every day, I give glory to God for allowing me to discover the WAYYO NGO center, which changed my life, and I thank all my benefactors."
