"My name is Mariama Yaye, and I am 10 years old. My father and mother are both alive and Muslim; there are 7 siblings in my family, and I am the 4th. We live in the city of Tillaberie, and my parents are very poor. We barely manage to eat once a day in the evening. Before, we would spend the whole day with empty stomachs.

But one day, everything changed in my life. A friend told me that she knew of a center where they distributed free meals and provided lessons. I expressed my interest in going there. Since I started attending, my life has never been the same because I can eat my fill during the day. I also find the lessons provided there very interesting. I learned that this center is called ONG WAYYO. I sincerely thank the founders and supporters of ONG WAYYO because they are changing our lives."
